Padraig Allen brings a big reputation to the line-up of the Young Wolfe Tones as he's a well-known singer, songwriter and guitarist both in his own right and as frontman for the popular Tipperary Celtic rock band The Whole Shebang.

Padraig is originally from Moate in County Westmeath and now lives in White Plains, New York. He has appeared at many of the leading Irish music festivals in the States, including the Milwaukee festival. He recently released his debut solo album ‘Celtic Evolution'.

From a musical background, he was given his first instrument, an accordion, by his uncle Tony Allen of Foster and Allen fame.
