Multi instrumentalist Damaris Woods is much sought after as a teacher, studio and tour musician, audiences are left spellbound by her amazing musicianship. She is duly recognized as one of the best banjo players and teachers of our time. Damaris spends countless hours patiently imparting her musical know how to those young boys and girls who are eager to learn. She performs with a Banjo band which is comprised of her pupils, the product of her dedication to teaching and their occasional performances are not to be missed. Damaris is an essential part of the exciting sound of The Young Wolfe Tones.
Jim Woods, brother to Damaris, has led a very distinguished musical career to date and plays a spectacular bodhran, a sweet accordion and blends his harmonic vocals into the songs. He has toured and shared the stage with a who's who of Irish acts, Altan, Andy Cooney, Liz Doherty, and even Jethro Tull. Jim has numerous world tours, recordings, albums and TV appearances to his credit. He is a much sought after music teacher, acclaimed by all for his cheerful disposition, winning personality and rapport with people of all ages, as well as for his brilliant and diverse musical talents.
Singer/songwriter Padraig Allen hales from a famous musical family himself and was given his first instrument by his uncle Tony of Foster and Allen fame. As front man for the popular Tipperary Celtic rock band The Whole Shabang he is no stranger to the American tour circuit having played all major US festival and venues

The accompaniment and vocals from Co. Cavans own Luke Ward complements the music brilliantly, adding rhythmic exuberance and attack, highlighting the off beat phrases within the songs & tunes and combining the intricate vocal harmonies and elaborate key changes to give the music a pulse and vitality.
Also in the mix is Kevin O'Donnell, from Dunkineely in South-West Donegal, who is one of Ireland's finest young balladeers and performs with great energetic spirit and passion.
